English Language for Successful Business Discussions

We begin with the language basics: common verb tenses, prepositions, modals (could, should, have to – not must!), conditional “if”, active and passive voice – and bring these lessons to life by using materials from your workplace. Expanding vocabulary is also a focus: business and general, direct and indirect, written and spoken.

By discussing actual business situations and role plays, clients strengthen their English and practice important but tricky communication found in meetings and leading your teams.  Participants learn to:

  • Propose a plan
  • Pitch an alternative
  • Express opinions
  • Give feedback; reject feedback
  • Move from request to require
  • Disagree with a subordinate, a colleague, a boss

Clients move their English forward and their careers up.
